You must also deal with the smokers in the main areas like the casino. The coffee maker was also in the bathroom (gross) and it had a dead insect at the bottom of the pot. The shower stall had mildew around the inside of the door, in the area where you keep the soap and the suction cups under the bathmat. Around the base of the bed were feathers (from pillows I assume) and other assorted lent and dirt. They also make you initial your reservation card acknowledging that you are aware of the construction. I was surprised you could here it that high up but you can. What I did not like was the noise from the remodeling that is going on the 10th & 11th floors. The room was large enough with two Queen beds and a decent view of the ocean and the Boardwalk. I spent $199 + $32 in taxes for a room on the 18th floor of the Bourbon Tower.
It escapes me why AC hotel rooms are so overpriced. I went to AC last weekend to attend a concert at the House of Blues.
